Anti-scalding with ThermoProtect technology

The SCHELL MODUS shower thermostat is equipped with ThermoProtect technology for reliable anti-scalding protection. In normal use, the shower thermostat water temperature can be adjusted up to 38 °C, with a further increase to a maximum of 43 °C also possible by pressing a button to release the temperature lock. And if the cold water line fails or pressure fluctuations occur in the system, the water never becomes hotter than 43 °C. This offers reliable protection against possible scalding injuries for users – making the fitting ideal for children and people who may have slower reaction times. 

IsoBody technology minimises scalding risk

Apart from scalding injuries due to excessively hot water, very hot fitting housings can also cause burn injuries: to protect against this, SCHELL’s MODUS shower thermostat also features IsoBody technology. As a result of its thermal insulation, the housing does not heat up but remains at ambient temperature, which drastically reduces the risk of burns. So users do not need to worry about coming into contact with the housing while showering, since touching the SCHELL MODUS shower thermostat is not dangerous.
