VITUS – shower fittings
A highly modular design that is ideal for use in healthcare
The VITUS shower fitting family is based on a standard body that is the starting-point for a wide range of variants. Like an exposed fitting for mixed water, for example, or a version with a thermostat. Fittings can also be triggered manually or electronically using CVD touch electronics. The VITUS portfolio also offers self-closing versions. The strong focus on user and drinking water hygiene adopted during development of the VITUS family makes it an ideal choice for use in healthcare applications, such as in hospitals, for example. Intensive, high-traffic use is all in a day’s work for this robust, all-metal body. The electronic versions in the VITUS family offer the option of automated stagnation flushes. SCHELL VITUS wash basin taps can also be used to maintain a uniform design in the facility.
An ideal choice for challenging areas
Electronic models of VITUS shower fittings are especially suited for applications that require the very highest standards of hygiene for the sanitary facility. As these models do not need to be touched again after triggering and use, they work to minimise the risk of contact infections. The flow times can be adjusted to the specific requirements present on site.
VITUS shower fittings are also available with a thermostat. With anti-scalding protection, plus a water stop if the cold water line fails, these offer extra protection against scalding for high-risk individuals – such as in nursing homes.
Simple setup and control
For greater efficiency and cost-effectiveness, electronic fittings can be easily networked with the SCHELL water management system SWS. SCHELL SWS offers centralised programming, control and monitoring for the fittings. Stagnation flush operations can also be logged.
The parameters for these operations can be conveniently set using Schell Single Control (SSC) – with the SSC Bluetooth® module, for example, and the app for iOS and Android.
