A successful visit to IFH 2022 in Nuremburg

3-minute read

The success of the IFH 2022 trade fair clearly demonstrates the importance of face-to-face events for the industry. From 26 to 29 April, some 39,000 people working in the overall HVAC and sanitation industry – 29,600 of these being trade delegates – met up to network and catch up in Nuremberg, Germany. With these visitor figures, the event has almost returned to pre-pandemic levels.

Looking towards a brighter future

As a pioneer in the field of drinking water hygiene, SCHELL was naturally in attendance, using the opportunity to exhibit its new products and innovative technologies, which were very well received by delegates. This also gave rise to many interesting and inspiring discussions with both customers and partners, with plenty of potential for future projects.

Visitors to SCHELL’s stand were also particularly interested in its innovative new products. SCHELL’s Co-Managing Director Andrea Bußmann was particularly pleased at the outcome: “Our expectations were pleasantly exceeded and the positive mood could be felt everywhere you went at the fair. Once again, IFH has confirmed our belief that our pioneering products are just what the industry needs.”

Maintaining drinking water hygiene – powered by innovation

One of the highlights at the IFH 2022 fair was the MONTUS Flow WC cistern module with optional stagnation flush, an add-on component that extends the Water Management System SWS. This new module ensures uniform and automated water management across all relevant tapping points within a building.

Other SCHELL products were also showcased during the fair. The new MODUS single-lever mixer with two lever variants and ThermoProtect technology ensures maximum user comfort, for example. Thanks to this innovative development, even individuals with slower reaction times are given reliable protection from scalding injuries if the cold water line should fail. And at this year’s IFH, delegates were at long last able to experience the GRANDIS E kitchen tap live, which was launched last year with two actuation variants and an angle valve thermostat to provide reliable anti-scalding protection.

All in all, IFH 2022 was an entirely positive experience, as Michael Huth, Sales Director Germany, also notes: “We were overwhelmed by the interest shown in our products. So we have many happy memories of IFH 2022, are thankful for all of the ‘reunions’ at the fair, the many interesting chats and in-depth discussions, and we are now very confident about the future!”
