These premium, satin matt metal finishes are achieved with a very special manufacturing procedure: the technically demanding PVD coating process gives CELIS E² its exceptionally pleasing haptic appeal plus outstanding hardness. PVD also gives the fitting extended durability and makes it very easy to clean.

PVD coating
Physical vapour deposition (PVD) is a vacuum-based process that involves the application of an additional layer of metal onto the fitting’s brushed, nickel-coated and chrome-plated brass body. The PVD coating resists mechanical and chemical damage, and is also easy to clean.

Chrome finishes
Mirror-like SCHELL chrome finishes offer a combination of quality, extra depth of gloss and outstanding service life. This is achieved by two carefully coordinated electroplating processes, first with nickel on the polished brass body and then with chrome as a final step.
