Successful trade fair shows in the DACH region: a positive experience for SCHELL.

3-minute read

After a long time in which no shows were allowed at all, this year, SCHELL was once again able to present its innovative products live at in-person fairs – and very successfully, too! The trade fairs in question included the September events SHK Essen and the Frauenthal EXPO in Vienna.

SCHELL’s trade show premiere at SHK Essen: MONTUS Flow H

In Essen, SCHELL presented its numerous product highlights for drinking water installations in public, semi-public and commercial buildings to a broad public, with many delegates being more than impressed by these innovations. These included the accessible MONTUS Flow H WC cistern module, whose especially stable module base offers excellent load-bearing capacity. Wall-mounted sanitary equipment – such as support handles – can be attached laterally with the help of this high-load mounting module. For automated stagnation flushes, MONTUS Flow H can be networked with the SCHELL SWS Water Management System – either as a wired or wireless option – making it the perfect solution for accessible WCs where these are used less often. “Together with our GRANDIS E kitchen tap, this expands our SSC- and SWS-compatible range still further,” explains Andrea Bußmann, Director of Marketing, Sales and Product Management at SCHELL. “Thanks to the versatility of the modular SWS system for maintaining drinking water quality, options for automated stagnation flushes are now available at all major tapping points in (semi-)public and commercial buildings.”

Interested delegates and in-depth discussions made this a fair to remember

The MODUS series of fittings was also exhibited at the show. This year, SCHELL added single-lever mixers with a loop or designer handle and two cartridge variants plus the MODUS shower thermostat to its portfolio. Andrea Bußmann: “Alongside the new products on show, our contactless fittings and SWS Water Management System were very popular exhibits at our stand. Our visitors also included representatives from the state government. The fact that SCHELL was one of only ten hand-picked companies visited from over 400 exhibitors again underlines our status as a leading innovator.”

Focus on electronic fittings at Frauenthal EXPO

Things also went very well at the Frauenthal EXPO in Austria. At this exhibition, SCHELL focused on its innovative solutions to support user and drinking water hygiene, and to save water and energy. For fair visitors, most of the interest focused on SCHELL’s electronic fittings. When used together with the SCHELL SSC Bluetooth® module, these electronic fittings can be adjusted quickly and easily: parameters such as sensor range, follow-up time and stagnation flushes improve user comfort and hygiene. “We had a lot of interesting discussions at the fair, explaining to many an industry delegate how drinking water hygiene is by no means incompatible with saving water or energy,” comments SCHELL Austria Managing Director Walter Berger. “It was a really successful event and we are more than happy with the feedback we’ve received.”
