Previously, the digital E² fittings generation comprised the electronic wash basin taps from SCHELL’s familiar XERIS, CELIS and PURIS series. With the new SCHELLTRONIC E² electronic exposed urinal flush valve, SCHELL has now expanded this product range with an innovative solution for urinals in sanitary facilities on public-use and commercial premises.

Integrated Bluetooth® technology and intuitive app control

The integrated Bluetooth® functionality ensures a direct connection between fitting and app. The user-friendly SCHELL app ensures fittings can be configured and managed in a matter of seconds. Operating data records are also available from the app whenever needed. 

Tip:The group manager can be used to simultaneously apply the same settings to a group of fittings. This is especially practical for ensuring the efficient parameterisation and management of local fitting groups, as typically found in projects for schools, sports centres and nursing homes, as well as mid-sized public and commercial buildings.

Accurate triggering

Thanks to the innovative ToF (time-of-flight) sensor, high-precision triggering of fittings is guaranteed. Accidental starts due to mirror finishes or light reflections from hi-vis vests, etc. are now a thing of the past.

Simple, app-based stagnation flush scheduling

Stagnation flushes can be easily configured with the SCHELL app. Alongside a series of dates or intervals, the ‘smart, demand-based flushing’ function offers an especially efficient solution that recalculates flush times on a daily basis based on actual usage data from the fitting.
With smart, demand-based flushing, compliance with the 72-h rule (German VDI 6023, Part 1) is ensured with minimal water consumption – ensuring the perfect symbiosis of drinking water hygiene and water efficiency.

The new SCHELLTRONIC E² electronic exposed urinal flush valve has been specially designed for use in sanitary facilities that see heavy use. As such, it offers a wide range of functions that are carefully coordinated to target a number of usage scenarios. The app can be used to manage the SCHELLTRONIC E² quickly and easily.

Flexible flush functions for a variety of applications

  • In stadium mode, the urinal control switches to a reduced flush duration after each use as user frequency increases. This can be selected from 1 to 10 seconds in the app. A main flush is triggered after the last high-frequency use. 
  • For hybrid urinals, a hybrid flush is available. This ensures that a flush is triggered at a specified interval rather than after every use. Flush duration and interval are selected in the app.
  • The odour trap flush tops up the water in the trap at regular intervals to prevent it from drying out and letting odours develop. Flush duration and interval are selected in the app.

Note: All flush functions can be easily configured in the SCHELL app and adjusted to match a wide variety of usage scenarios. This permits the targeted reduction of water consumption.

Easy, app-based log record access and exporting

The SCHELL app can be used to access the records logged for triggering and (calculated) water consumption. These records can be stored in the app and also exported. All relevant data is reliably collected and provided as visualised information. This ensures that the data can be submitted as per the requirements from applicable standards and legal requirements for preserving drinking water hygiene and specified normal operation.

The vandal-resistant, all-metal housing of the SCHELLTRONIC E² is durable, hard-wearing and easy to clean. Featuring a high-quality, modern appearance, the fitting blends in easily with all designer/functional series. 
The exposed urinal flush valve is fitted with an integrated isolating valve to make maintenance as easy as possible. This ensures service work can be easily completed while the other urinals in the facility remain in operation.
