MODUS fittings from SCHELL receive award for excellent product quality

Impressive quality from the MODUS series

After the MODUS MD-T shower fitting and MODUS EH-T wash basin tap had previously won the Plus X Award in the ‘2024 Value for Money’ category, the entire series of fittings has now received an accolade for product quality. During comprehensive testing conducted by the German Institute for Product and Market Evaluation (DIPMB), the series also received an accolade in the ‘Material quality’ category.

User-friendly and accessible MODUS wash basin taps

The MODUS series also scores points for functional capability, reliability and user-friendliness. The contactless electronic MODUS E wash basin tap is not only intuitive and comfortable to operate, but also minimises the risk of contact infection. This is especially important in sanitary facilities that see very heavy use, such as on public or commercial premises. Stagnation flushes provide support for maintaining drinking water quality while also contributing to drinking water hygiene.

The single-lever mixers in the MODUS series are available in several variants: with loop or designer lever, and with a Basic or ThermoProtect cartridge. The loop lever is ideal for users with limited mobility. The recess in the lever makes it easy to take hold of and operate.

With all MODUS wash basin taps equipped with ThermoProtect, this innovative mechanism offers reliable anti-scalding protection. With the wash basin tap lever in the centre position, the water has a pleasant temperature of 32 °C – really helpful for people unable to make fine adjustments to the lever position due to their physical condition.

The MODUS MD-T exposed shower fitting also features integrated anti-scalding protection, while also being equipped with the innovative IsoBody system. With its thermally insulated housing, the tap is never a burn hazard, as it is almost always the same temperature as its surroundings.
These ThermoProtect and IsoBody features make MODUS fittings especially suitable for children, senior citizens and people unable to respond quickly to danger. This is why they are especially popular in healthcare facilities and nursery schools, for example.
