Angle valves from SCHELL – quality you can rely on

A leader: the original

Two angle valves from SCHELL are installed every second. That’s over 780 million worldwide to date – and a fact that truly speaks for itself. All over the world, tradespersons rely on the original ‘Made in Germany’ quality: they are durable, reliable, made from potable water-grade materials, and ideal for saving water. With over 90 years of experience, it’s no wonder that SCHELL is the global leader for angle valves. Read on to find out how tradespersons benefit every day from the advantages offered by SCHELL angle valves.

Benefits that make life easier

Saving water with a flick of the wrist

The role of angle valves in saving water and energy is often overlooked. And yet, with an optimally adjusted SCHELL angle valve, users can cut their water and energy consumption by as much as 40% – and with very little effort. Thanks to their regulating function, the flow volumes of cold and hot water can be adjusted, and varying pipe pressures can be compensated for.

Tip: Once optimally adjusted, an angle valve also ensures the perfect balance between cold and hot water, which improves user comfort during hand washing.

Quiet operation, thanks to noise class I

All of SCHELL’s regulating angle valves have a sound level of <20 dB(A) and a noise class I rating over their full adjustment range. Regardless of how much or how little water is being allowed through, the valve stays pleasantly quiet in any position. Noise levels are suppressed by the flow-optimised brass spindle and the low-noise design of the valve seat.

Constant low-friction action thanks to double O-ring seal with grease chamber

SCHELL angle valves have an impressively long service life. Within the protective grease chamber, two O-rings protect the brass spindle from water, deposits and limescale. This ensures that the angle valves remain easy to use and low-maintenance even many years after installation.

Quick and easy installation with ASAG easy or thread beading

A quick, simple and reliable installation is assured by the patented, self-sealing connection thread with ASAG easy or connection thread with factory-applied beading. ASAG easy guarantees a seal of the highest quality without needing any other sealants. Anyone preferring to work with conventional sealants also benefits from SCHELL’s factory-applied beading – for quick installation without time-consuming manual roughing.

Note: Whether with ASAG easy or beading, our step-by-step video shows you how simple and reliable angle valve installation can be – thanks to SCHELL.

Always the right solution, thanks to over 200 product variants

With more than 200 different models, SCHELL has the right solution for any application. Designed to meet individual requirements and needs, no matter how specific, SCHELL’s full product range is simply unmatched. Examples include angle valves with temperature sensors for integration with the SWS Water Management System, angle valve thermostats for retrofitting anti-scalding protection, combined angle valves for connecting household appliances, sampling angle valves for taking drinking water samples, angle valves with filters to protect high-quality fittings such as electronic taps and designer angle valves for premium-segment bathrooms.
The SCHELL angle valve range is also continuously improved and adapted to meet contemporary needs.

Quality down to the last detail

Well-designed systems and uncompromising quality at a glance:

  • Faster installation: The self-sealing ASAG easy connection thread together with thread beading for all non-self-sealing connection threads make installation much easier.
  • Constant low-friction action: A grease chamber protects the brass spindle from limescale, ensuring that the valve remains easy to operate even years later.
  • Doubled-up for durability: The zero-maintenance, double O-ring seal protects the tried-and-tested brass spindle and guarantees freedom of movement even after many years of operation.
  • Reliable connection: The special brass cone compression with length compensation creates a quick and reliable connection between the angle valve and copper pipes or flexible hoses with 10 mm pipe stubs. Alternatively, the angle valve is connected to flexible hoses using a union nut and flat gasket.
  • Clean finish: Push rod and push rosette compensate for installation tolerances of up to 18 mm. Alongside standard push rosettes, SCHELL also offers larger rosettes of up to Ø 70 mm – ideal for walls with tiling imperfections.
  • Time-saving shut-offs: Simply turn the operating handle clockwise to shut off the angle valve. The fitting can then be accessed easily for removal or servicing.
  • SCHELL COMFORT handle: The handle is designed to ensure that it is comfortable to grip and offers easy operation.

Made for professionals

SCHELL also has the right solution for more specialised applications.

  • Focus on hygiene: For sampling in compliance with the German Drinking Water Regulation, specialised angle valves are available that are ideal for use on public and commercial premises.
  • End-to-end quality: Flexible hoses in SCHELL quality ensure a secure connection right up to the tapping point, inspected according to DVGW and durable in day-to-day use
  • All from a single source: The installation is not only reliable but is based on uniform technical systems with the same look and feel.

Small parts with a big effect

Often barely visible but always at work: angle valves affect our daily lives more than we might think, and are essential for proper function, convenience and safety. With their well-designed technology, durable materials and a wide range of models, SCHELL angle valves keep things flowing day after day. Quality that tradespersons have relied on for decades.
